As I rode it more, it all seemed to bed in and settle down, except the front end. Just no grip and getting too many slides. And very vague feeling.
My pal with a Husky had a go yesterday and he agreed. Hmm, gonna have to bugger about with the suspension :(

Last night I asked on the KTM forum and 1 lad blamed the Maxxis tyres :)

Put a Michelin in today. Wowsers. Night and day, Like a new bike :)

So much grip and confidence. The front now just does what it's supposed to. Was hanging the back out at will and the front just behaved. Did a few tricky rocky climbs and descents and it was sublime.

It's now better out of the box, than my Husky was after throwing lots of time and money at it. I think this is more user friendly of the 3 versions.

Happy bunny !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wasn't all good news. Went through a flood tunnel under the road.
Need to go over a few rocks to get into it and as the bike felt so good, I attacked it. Bollox. Went askew and ended up scraping my new helmet and shirt along the tunnel wall :(

Was a bit scary

The freebie hand guards turned up today. And my pal told me that there is a shorter screw in the assortment of spares that came with it, that stops the sidestand shooting up automatically. It was a right pain. And same on the Husky before :)

My pal chose the spare body kit as part of his 500€ freebies. Keeping the standard stuff nice for when he sells it.
Quality gear out of same mould and looks cool. Helped him fitting it earlier
