I gave him a nod, but he didn't nod back.

Never noticed before but all their bikes have number plates ending 'SEG'.
They will kill someone one day. Absolute stupidity to ride at those speeds on heavily congested roads with pedestrians and cyclist emerging from between high vehicles where they have no chance of seeing them or stopping at the speeds they do. Like most people in London, I've seen some shocking near misses!

Ordered a tank bag for the ZX11. Yesterday is was barely 30deg when I went out on the bike & I was dressed for it... A few hours later coming home it was damn near 70deg & I couldn't strip anything off... which sucked. Thank fuck I left the liner at home.
Not an issue with the ZRX owing to the cavern under the seat (especially with the battery relocation). Can fit a large loaf of bread under the ZRX11 seat... ZX11 seat space barely takes a sandwich...
Also ordered a small spring mesh net thingie to strap crap to the PAX seat.

I got severely yelled at while dispatching back in the day. They were going a bit bloody slow along Holborn & I started to pass them. A PAX in one of the Rovers opened the window & gave me a right earful. They were escorting some high level IRA bloke to his trial.

I got waved back some years ago. Whilst the bikes speed here, there and everywhere the convoy travels at a constant speed. I went whizzing up and got a very aggressive wave out of the passenger window..

Oops.

I've had one open his door and wave his gun at me. I must have missed the bit in the highway code that says not to overtake them even if they are going slower than a push bike.

Part of 'protection' driving is to stop in queues allowing plenty of space ahead in case there's a need to drive away quickly.

Ideal for a bike to filter into.

'Whoops' again :)

Car occupants can do some very serious glaring when they want to :D
Even bland can be a type of character

Just been for another Covid injection.

It's funny looking back to the first where i had to drive to Heathrow, queue in masks, all staff in full masks and kit...

Today, walked into Doctors, was in there 30s... didn't even sit me down... just "ok, here you go..." and off he went..

Given the use it gets I'd certainly understand that. It's a chunk of change sitting there idle for sure. Sometimes it's nice to have toys though...

Navigated the murky world of shop van hire today.
€800 deposit, copy of leccy bill, drivers licence.
2 hrs hire for €15 and €5 diesel.
Annoyingly didn't realise the patio doors came as a kit, so it would have fitted in the boot of the Moho anyway, but a bit more of a struggle!
Anyone know how to build a door frame?

Got rained on. Sat at window watching rain sulking as BT took down the telegraph pole so no decent TV, Radio and internet. The pole thing got me thinking. No one got a message to say its coming down. What about fold who use the phone line for house alarms, personal attack alarms and OAP's who have the alert buttons for if they have a fall. Seems i tad ill thought.

Dug my friend's car out of the snow and took it to the under cover parking :bblonde: Slightly shocked that they didn't open the undercover place till a few days after it snowed, but at least the car is less snowed on now!! LOL

Answered my first phone call at work, and to a flipping French  But I did ok, I think! Will find out tomorrow as I was alone in the office!

And, a mate treated me to lunch in the restaurant that's open here - very quick lunch but nice to be treated! I only lent her some booster seats, but she felt I deserved lunch for that!! :bblonde:

Has been pretty cold but it's also snowed all day, so, happy happy Noggin :D :D :D

Just dropped the car off for a 2nd attempt at the MOT. Bloody emissions again due to stop start small trips over the year. Stuck a cleaner in and just been driving it like i stole it so fingers crossed.

12 Hr commissioning shift, 8 of which was spent thumb twiddling waiting for contractors to finish on site wiring and 4Hrs working as briskly as possible whilst staying safe to get the trickiest bit of the first site migrated from the old ElectroMech Electrical Control room at Selhurst to our new Computer based system at Brighton Electrical Control Room before our “window” of access closed.

Now I have MORE power😂.

Bloody shattered and sitting with a large glass of wine!

"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Mentioned this before but - had a car that just scraped through on emissions one year. Started putting 98 RON in it for a while then just on some fill-ups. It absolutely sailed through the next one.

I assume they didn't just switch you off so what was it replaced with?
