The groups are a long long way from full

But that's a whole other discussion and leads on from what I was saying earlier. Let's just say, I won't be astounded if this is our last event.

Well, I for one will still enjoy trackday fun with some of the guys off this forum, whether thats Pembrey or elsewhere.

Also, the friday cancellation was not caused by the RTTL contingent so hopefully we can continue with a decent turnout. We are down this year as the Wiltshire crew do come in number's, but that couldn't be helped.

One or two new faces again this year, so all is good. 👍

100% mate, it was not 'our' fault the Friday has been canned. We have more respect for Alan and the guys than to bail just because it may rain...

It does irritate me on his behalf as this isn't the first time we've seen people doing it to them, but they don't seem to grasp that if they piss people about and pull the plug, then the service goes away as the TDO folds and fails... Therefore their selfishness means they NEVER get to play... But of course, these type of people don't see that, all they see is that they're sorted and happy. Fuck everyone else.

Personally, i'd tell them all to piss off.. but then they start doing things like clawing back the money via the bank etc... When it's actually their own fault.

Yea, it seems to change a lot now. Let's hope that cold front arrives a little bit later in the weekend.

I'm starting to sh1t myself now as it gets closer. Bags are pretty much packed. I'm going to leave early on the Friday and enjoy the ride down (maybe not the first 50 miles on dual carriageway though) and get to the hotel early/mid afternoon. Looking forward to meeting everyone

Oh cool :)

@tricol, it'll be brilliant... I give it one or two sessions before you're faster than me, I'm shit on track and still enjoy it.

@weeksy its a shame about Friday but never mind, we’re still going down Friday night for Saturday, and trying to rearrange things so we can stay for the barbecue and possibly do Sunday if there are any available places, but won’t know until nearer the weekend.
I’m sure It’ll be a fantastic day or two whatever the weather and looking forward meeting up with old acquaintances and making some new ones.
@tricol , you’re going to love it!😀

Looking on BBC, I've seen it showing a lot lot worse and we've still got dry sessions.

To be honest the last couple of years have started wet and cleared quickly and a few years back the rest of Wales got soaked for the entire weekend and we sat at Pembrey completely dry all day Saturday. Sunday was a monsoon for most of us riding/driving home

I've woken up there in a monsoon, got to 12 and went clear, dry and everyone walloped it round all afternoon and finished happy.

At the end of the day, there's many things we can control, but weather sure isn't one.

I've done plenty there and never seen rain. Cadwell is the rainiest.
Did many days with all us instructors under my awning in the holding bay :D

Yeah, it’s a bit further to get there and back. I actually checked and a French trackday was closer to me mileage and time wise ;)

Won’t see you for dinner Friday night like the last couple of years as I will be camping at track so see you Saturday morning

Generator pulled out of the loft-space this morning and tested... fired up right away which considering it only gets used once a year isn't bad at all :)

So @Welsh Muffin will have power and warmers at the ready.

It already has, netweather changes almost on the hour and I've found that pretty reliable. The ride back up to Manchester on Sunday will be fun!

Do I need to remove my toesliders off my RST boots? I can see small screws, I assume they can be.
