2022 RTTL Pembrey trackday extravaganza. Sept 2/3/4
Still waiting for dates to be finalized by @Alan PBTD but I'm pretty sure I know which date we'll be taking for out yearly Wales weekend away.
The only question is, who'll be with me and @Welsh Muffin there.
It's been a bit slack in some ways in the last few years, so if you Facebook kids want to give people like Sunny, Muz, Jazzy, Twids etc a shout and we'll try to get a few oldies back out.
As you know, my main goal is to build a community here and that's why last year @Trinity765 was gifted a space at Pembrey with us and absolutely loved it. This year we have the same criteria of "someone new to trackdays" and posts on the forum. There's loads of worthy members in terms of postings but very few actual novices, hence me giving this year's place to @tricol to come and play on his Trident.
Obviously I don't know at this stage if we'll be doing hotels, camping and BBQ but I admit I'd love to get back to the Sat night camping and BBQ meat fest, despite loving the Indian.
I don't know yet if I'll bring the MT07 but the odds are pretty high I will. Along with the 1199 I'll talk the wife into by then.

If you're building a list I'd like to be on it but if you're looking for genuine novices to come I'm not that although I am always in the novice group.

What weeksy meant was that last year a free place was given for their contribution to the forum in their posting to someone who had never ever been on a trackday so a pure Novice
The rest of us who normally go will be on a list as normal payees in whatever group you choose so feel free to come along. I have been in Novice last 2 times but will play with the rest in Inters this summer all going to plan

No free place but always good to have new faces along on the weekend in whatever group you like

As I said before, I feel very privileged to have been offered a place.
I'm excited and nervous already in equal measures.
Best dust the passport off for Wales!

You'll love it. Sounds like there will be a lot of people from the forum there and there's always plenty of people to ask for help, advice and encouragement. It's a fun track, not too scary and relatively easy to learn.

Its a long way off, I don't like to plan more than 3 hours in advance.

As long as there's still breath in me I'll be there, but I think that you probably already know that!
The plan will be to have the LC fully fettled and bring it along for a dry session or two to spread the smell of Silkolene Comp2 - stands a decent chance of actually coming true this year too, well, a better one than the last few years anyway
As for what else, maybe it will be the 890, maybe something new, who knows eh...

Oh, i was relying on your bringing that so i could leave the MT07 at home and just put my number on your 890R early doors

Fear not!- I am almost certain the 890 will be there, so all is good with your plan- there is honestly still nothing else I currently want more
(well, unless of course I get seduced by big power again between now and then in which case you might be sticking your number on a latest Gen SDR or 2021 Tuono Factory )

oh well, if i'm making the decision for us then the SDR please, i don't like the riding position on the Tuono V4....
If it makes it easier, yo can just buy it then leave it at mine and registered here.

I remember sitting on the V4 tuono in cannock. It did feel strange, kind of unattached to it, sat high I think. That was coming off a tracer.
I'd never buy one as my only bike, purely on the shit tank range.

between you and tricky i've got no need to bring mine at all. Just a gallon or two of fuel and a pile of dead animal for the paddock.

I'll pack my skis!!
@weeksy I'm reluctant to say I'm in only cos I keep doing that and failing
But, depending on dates, a job, being able to take time off for those dates and not breaking myself between now and then, I will do my best!!
And if I do make it, it'll be with the 'forum' Monster

I'm in, and I know the wiltshire contingent are all really keen on coming again.
So:
GP - will the 900SS trackbike be ready?
IanB - will his recently acquired extra 900ss be ready
Doug Lightyear - ZX10 with new brakes
Steve - on one of his Ducatis
Paddy - The V2 is being replaced with a Bayliss ltd edition V2
Midge - Probably on the the Triumph Tiger again
Rich - another of the Wiltshire contingent who couldn't make it last year. On a Street triple
All camping
