I do wish I had a loft-of-plenty-like-Taipan!!! I just have various boxes of crap stashed in various places. I'm finally going through them to reduce the numbers and get to a point that I only need to store stuff in my place (under the bed, although that is 4ft up in the air so a bit of space!) and the tool box and bike related bits in my friends garage!!Taipan wrote: Thu Aug 25, 2022 7:12 pm Had to use my dremel today but I couldn’t find it anywhere. But when in the loft-of-plenty searching, the loft-of-plenty delivered me this alternative, which did the job! No idea where it came from but I have learnt not to question these mysteries, just enjoy the benefits of the loft-of-plenty!

I do now have a shared winter garage and a shared summer garage - need to be careful not to take too much space in both of those!!
Weirdly, since coming back from the latest rehab, I've been a LOT more ruthless with 'stuff'. Loads of clothes that I'll never wear, for various reasons, have gone (well, in bags to the garage, will take to a charity shop soon) and kitchen stuff too. Need to get rid of a box of cables - how many cables does one person need??!!
Today I'm taking stuff to a mate in the valley - lots of big tins of chickpeas to start! I get given lots of stuff at the end of each season and always think I'll use the stuff. But I haven't. So it's time to clear down!! Chickpeas & coucous for today (how much coucous can a person eat for gods sake! I still have a litre kilner jar full and another box
I did jokingly say that instead of giving her some dijon mustard, I should ebay it (serious shortage of mustard here!!) - she thought I was serious!
At least I'll get some hummus and pasties in return for free stuff!!
