twids wrote: Tue Aug 23, 2022 11:58 am Hey all, do I just need a brake leaver guard or do I need a clutch guard too?

Also wondering about back protectors, I've got one I've had for a while (Knox Aegis), just not sure what "Approved" means and whether this fits under that category?

I'm bringing my MT-09 along and my wife's ZX6r - was going to stick a for sale sign on it and see if anyone in the paddock might be interested ;-)
Finally, Weeksy if there's anything I can bring along with me (have a van this time around) please let me know, I can always a bung a spare BBQ and coal etc... in it to help out.
1. Brake
2. Approved.... is approved by yourself
3. Just fuel for the MT09 :D

When I was there in May the emails went out 5 days before so plenty of time. You'll get a link to signing on and the online briefings. There's a supplemental novice briefing in the bar too.

''Signing On'' E mails will be sent out this Sunday evening - direct to booked in Riders. It'll also contain a covering letter outlining the latest information. Due to current time restraints - namely additional noise control procedures - the Novice briefing is ammended. With the reduced numbers its now done on a more ''One to One'' basis, as the day unfolds. Or in RTTL's case I'll leave it to Weeksey..

As it's a bulk E mail it may get cauught up in your Spam and Junk folders so pls check.

Took the SV out for first time in months to check over, handling great but I like quicker to turn so added some ride height. Fitted some GB engine covers I’ve had for ages and the brake guard. Mirrors off so guess it’s ready.

@Alan PBTD , getting a bit worried now, my old R1 records 98db static with no limits and has never been black flagged at Bedford, (87db drive by). That’s with a long race can, I can baffle it, but without re jetting it runs like a pig.
If I can’t ride it’s a bit of a shame but I’m more worried for my Son who’s on a sv 650, with a long baffled race can that also blows 98db static!
Could be an expensive weekend watching trackday riders!😂

But the Noise limit is 96.0 DB Drive By - so U should be OK.

Installed and lock wired in. It’ll be the quietest bike you’ll see all day.
