One front mounted rad is enough unless he's thrashing it through death valley, but I bet the fan is working overtime in town.KungFooBob wrote: Sun Aug 16, 2020 2:18 pmNot a lot of Firestorms get the street fighter treatment because of the side mounted radiators, it looks like that one has one of the two radiators relocated and the other removed, I bet it overheats!Supermofo wrote: Sun Aug 16, 2020 2:10 pm Wow.

I'm loving the VTR on the side of the fairing, they used to sell those letters on a revolving stand near the checkout in my local Halfrauds.

It's VTR season...

Maybe I keep finding them because I keep looking for Firestorms.
I'd love one cheap enough that I could paint it in that gun metal colour that the Blackbird originally came in and get the wheels painted gold.

Re: Ebay 'WTF' bikes
So much effort, but why spend all that time and money building something based around such a low rent motor!

My mate lives in Germany, he's after a cool retro 80's bike, so we've been bantering over messenger, I've just sent him this bad boy...

From the same site that the S4R thing above is on-
https://classifieds.thebikeshed.cc/details/2400

This one is a WTF for me purely for the price tag- it's up for the bargain price of €18k
I think they may have a fairly long wait if that's how much they are really looking for....

An Enfield that's trying to look like a 1970s Husqvarna, I suppose if it floats your boat, but it's a very expensive boat, you could buy a real 70s Husqvarna for less

Re: Ebay 'WTF' bikes
OMG it's a 750, though I suppose that explains why the mileage is very low. It's very 1980s, but it's not cool, RD350 YPVS is the king of 80s cool.KungFooBob wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 8:41 pm My mate lives in Germany, he's after a cool retro 80's bike, so we've been bantering over messenger, I've just sent him this bad boy...

Re: Ebay 'WTF' bikes
Another in from me with the WTF referring to the price,s that aside, nothing remarkable , plenty of old shitters like this about, but that certainly was a bargain engine rebuild, and she's a beaut, no mistake eh !

Re: Ebay 'WTF' bikes
I had two RD400s, both in better condition than that, they cost £250 each (and they were a nowhere near as good as an LC)
