As per my PM the other day.. If it helps we can chat to Alan and either provide you an instructor for the first session, who will follow you for half of it and lead you for half of it, both wearing yellow bibs so people know to pass a bit more politely. (Or i'll take the job on if he'd prefer)
Although it's never been a problem yet and at a guess i'd say we've had 20+ from TRC/RTTL who've never sat on a bike on track before arriving at Pembrey. The great thing for you is, none of this is unknown to us and won't be to you. The night before, we'll all be in the pub having orange squash (stop laughing back there) and we'll talk through anything that worries you, we'll scare you senseless with some stuff and banter, but there'll be all the information you can ever need. The odds are that
@Alan PBTD and his wife are likely to be there for a beer in the pub too, so any question you can also ask him in person.
The morning before, we'll check things like your chain tension, tyre pressures etc.
IF you feel the need, then PBTD provide a suspension service you'll be able to book, which is not only great for track, but for roads on the way back too.
Over the years we've done things like you post your tent/kit in a box to my house, i'll bring it to track which means you need to load less stuff, i had Mr OCD (Claudes) tent in my loft for 4 years !!!! I brought it every year and took it back home for him until the next year.
I don't care if you drink beer or water, it's still a Tenner

we've had some funny people who've turned up to tell me they only had 2 sausages and should only pay £3....
When you get to know me in person, you'll work out how that went down with me and the reply they got
As much as the trackday, many of us go to see mates.. obviously a lot of us know one-another so there's a bit of a barrier to get past for some newbies.... but stand round, talk rubbish and throw a few insults about, you'll fit right in.
@Dodgy knees used to be a newbie, he's now granted onto the Whatsapp group... that's a leap !!!
