Ride the 1200LC then - same difference.
Front wheel? If you really wanted to then yes you could. But why the fuck would you want to on a public road?
Guy on a 1200GSA at Almeria last year had no issues being in the advanced group either so guess that leaves a WWII shell where the sun doesn't shine in you.
LOL why is he not allowed to dislike the bike ? I've ridden loads i don't like.... it's not a dig at people who like them :)
More than a few <insert any bike type> owners take offence if you fail to acknowledge their bike's superiority.
FTFY.

It's a good thing that not everyone likes one type/make/model of bike. Imagine a world where there are only MT07s on the road. :D There are more than enough GSs out there so if some people don't like them that's  Variety is the spice of life, Harleys, Kwaks, Hondas, trailies, cruisers, tourers, old stuff, new stuff....the more the merrier I say.

Nah, he's had one before. It'll last until the first wheelie.

I might start a thread on how much pain is there in a £2400 1150GS. But yeah had one before and I don’t mind them tbh.

If it had the panniers to match the frames, together they'd be worth more than the rest of the bike :)

Till it gets replaced with something less than half the weight for laning like a CRF 300 Rally ;)

I only mentioned that one as one of the overlanders i watch on youtube has selected it as her bike for her next leg of assorted round the world riding. Channel called Itchy Boots with a short Dutch woman called Noraly who has been all over the place on 2 RE Himalayans and 3 months in Southern Africa on a CRF250 which she found better for off roading as it was lighter, nimbler and more durable than the RE bikes.

The Rally is on the limit of her leg length so will see how she gets on riding from Peru to Alaska as she did the Patagonia to Peru bit then Covid hit and she had to fly out and back to Holland.

Thought it would be right up your street for the green laning

That 1150GS looks like a great bike for the money.

I fancy a 300 Rally but they're expensive right now so I'm hanging fire. I bet they're a cracking little bike.

Is anyone surprised that Honda build a really good trail bike but that it's expensive, I don't like Hondas (it's a stupid prejudice that goes back to the 80s) but I think Honda build really good, easy to use off road bikes.
