Just watched a load of Dr Who, well, yesterday, and yes, I agree. I freaking hate any episode with those little buggers in it!!!! :angry-cussingblack:

This latest series is a wee bit bobbins, they've tried to throw everything in to see what sticks, and it's a mess.

I've really enjoyed it so far. But i'm not a superfan. Just used to like it and got bored. This series seems to be holding my interest a bit more than the last few!

Hold music that gets interrupted every 2 seconds to be told that everyone is busy and my call is important. I get that I have to wait, but I can't even get to enjoy the music in the mean time.

Where are you calling that has even remotely 'enjoyable' on-hold music???

Well, maybe "enjoy" was a bit strong, but you are just getting used to the jangly, tinny horror and then the voice cuts in to take you out of it again. And then if you are sitting there with it on speaker doing something else, the music cutting off diverts your attention and you hope against all hope it's a real person that you can talk to, but no, just the recorded message telling you how busy they are.

So much better if they interrupted the music and gave you some helpful pointers.

Yup, the fuckers should include it in the sticker price, not stealth it on at the end when you've already made the decision.

Any other time you'd tell them to do one, but the market is so silly at the moment the dealers can do what they like and people will still buy.

I bought the wife a new car last month, if I'd bought it 12 months ago it would have been £2k cheaper!

I just sold my e93 for £500 more than I paid for it 2 years ago! Tis a crazy market for sure! :wtf: If I had any sense i'd wait for prices to drop back down again and really capitalise on it, but I'm a tart and have already bought a Panamericana grill, so I need the car to put it on! :?

I looked at loads of E's on t'internet and assumed those dials by the seat base were the adjusters. When I went to look at one in the local MB stealership I made a fool of myself trying to adjust the seat with them... obviously the seat adjustment is on the door, those adjusters are for the vented seat blowers!

The local school has got security guards on the gates now, the head has had death threats and the school was closed last week due to a bomb scare (loads of plod) all courtesy of the Anti Vax Twats.

Independent Car Salespeople (notice what I did there).

Bumped into an acquaintance yesterday who used to be a car salesman with his own business. He told me a few of the "tricks of the trade" although he said "you can't get away with it anymore as there's so many snowflakes about" Some of the things he told me - if an engine management light comes on he'd take the bulb out. If a customer knocked him down £300 he'd put it in the small print that it invalidates their warranty. He also confessed to buying a cheap mobile phone used for customer contact, meeting a customer at a service station and then putting the mobile somewhere in the car he'd sold them so that when they phone to complain - they hear it ring.

I don't like him anymore.

Ugh, detestable gobshites!

I worked with a guy who had galloping chin-music to big himself up. His most excruciating was a long story about how he had to support his 'dopey' wife with his intelligence, wit and charisma to get her into even the most low-paid and menial work. What a massive w@nker.
