Z1s are pretty flexy, there are kits to brace the frame that have plates to weld all around the steering head and spine, I'll have to see if I can find a picture of the Yoshmura race bike frame, Kawasaki copied the bracing for their Mk2 race bike, and the Z1000J production frame gets a lot of the bracing, but sadly not all of it. GS1000 handles a lot better than the Kawasaki, the Suzuki manages to keep keep everything going in the same direction.
That was how I finally fixed the Z1 handling.

I traded it for a GS1000.

The surface is a bit shit in places, and the S bends in the little valleys get quite slippery when wet.

I don't like Southwold very much, way too North London by the sea for my taste, so at Yoxford I'm turn right and head to Sizewell, the road to Sizewell used to be excellent, but 30 mph limits and poor condition have ruined it, sometimes I'll head to Dunwich from Yoxford, depends what you want though, I prefer my seaside places either desolate or run down, I'm not a fan of the media haunts that are Aldeburgh and Southwold, I prefer the real East Coast, desolate and decaying.

LOL, Yarmouth is a bit full on rough in summer, in November it's a big bleak beach with a strip of seaside tat attached.

Aldeburgh is okay, I like Dunwich, the Ship pub does excellent food and so does the Bridge Farm Garden Centre, the fish and chips on the beach is okay, but expensive for what it is.

Yeah it's rough as arseholes, I've been drunk since Thursday which helps a bit. Global warming flooding it might do it a favour.

Just looked up where you are, Vauxhall Holiday Park, looks really bleak, on the eastern end of the Acle Straight, by the river, I bet that's cold.

Laxfield is a bit scary North Suffolk, you're into serious webbed feet territory up there.

Yeah thats the one. Had the heating on since we got here and it's OK TBF but outside is cold indeed. The caravan is fairly decent apart from the 5 other snoring twats

Popped to the beach yesterday, it was cold, the town is horrible and there are some odd people here but the beer was cheap and met some nice enough other drunk people. Terrorvision are doing a decent job, and local (to where I grew up) Orange Goblin are up next. Its been a top weekend catching up with mates, don't think I've talked this much about nothing in ages

Back to normal tomorrow, 2 hrs back to Hertford. My liver will thank me

Wasn't there much, spent most of the time at the coast, Framlingham, Orford etc. Evenings mainly at the cottage as Son was 18 months old and Mrs 8.5 months pregnant.

The King's Head was a bloody good pub though.

Odd people and cheap beer - sounds like Yorick was in Yarmouth :D

I might get the GSX out today, but it sounds a bit windy at the moment.
