Our club did a big ride out to The Iron Bull Roadhouse, Basingstoke on Sunday, 50 bikes. It was a major stress for the main organiser as he phoned the planned petrol stations before leaving home and none of them had petrol so he had to re-route. That meant none of us, but him, had the route - cornerman system with tailgunner rules! No one got lost and we all got home. One of our ride leaders decided to crash in front of me on the way out on a
very gravelly bend. From my perspective it went cloud of dust, a few break lights, squiggled myself, oh look a green bike under a van bumper, shaken rider already standing up. Rider ok, bike ok - crash bungs did their job, exchange of details and out of there in 10 minutes. The van driver coming in the other direction, whose bumper the bike slid under said "It's a good job that I wasn't eating the Greggs sausage roll I'd just bought and was concentrating". It was all rather civil and I told him that it was the best crash I'd been too. We were at the back and thought we may manage to catch everyone up before they even missed us, but word got out - like it does.

I got my Mum a Bosch WAU28T64GB Serie 6 washing machine delivered on Thursday with "EcoSilence Drive: Delivering an efficient cleaning performance, by using the EcoSilence Drive for a powerful and quiet wash cycle, with a 10 year guarantee." From the first wash it was making an awful noise - sounded like the main drum bearing (if that's what they have) and shook all over place on spin so that was picked up yesterday and I need to find another. I'm gutted that Bosch have let me down
I missed the email deadline for parking spaces at work last week so I'm WFH or taking the bike in this week grrrrr - not ideal as I need to start carting washing back to mine to do for my Mum - not easy on a bike. I have scheduled a bunch of automatic-email requests now to the Parking Police at work so I won't miss the deadline again.
