Have you seen the price of the Akro silencers for a Ducati V4

Just back from an hour out playing on it. I didn't use the QS all the time, but it's very addictive to do so.

Had an epic ride though, loving it lots.

Boy does it get hot!!!!

RSVMAN talked me into it as I wasn't really feeling that HJC and didn't want to risk wearing it on the bike as that's obviously the point of no return, he was saying how nice it is at times to flip it open and cool down and on days like today I could truly appreciate that. But also overall comfort.

So it arrives tomorrow and we'll give it a whirl

Most modern bikes get super hot. The more power the more heat, also I suspect that cats in exhausts add to the overall heat output, they need to be hot to work properly.

Do you really 'need' a new exhaust or is it just a nice-to-have?

I've just came back to a triple, albeit a Trumpet, after several years with IL4's and twins and love the motor - the noise along with pops on deceleration are great, I actually had to have a dig around the exhaust to see if it was fitted with the TOR optional exhaust as it sounds that good!

WADR, I spent 15 years spanking sports bikes on track, harder than 99% of folk on her ever will. Never had trouble with heat. They are designed to cope.
