You dont exactly see much of your £500 akra do you! I'd buy it for noise but if it make no real noise difference, then i'd not bother and look at another system. TBH i'd probably look at another system anyway as for me Akras are crazily overpriced.

Tried the helmet on 5-6 times now and i'm just not quite feeling it, so it's toast.
Incoming is a Shoei Neotec after some discussions with a mate.
Same as mine, I only wear it on the Tiger cos flip fronts aren't allowed on cool bikes
RSVMAN talked me into it as I wasn't really feeling that HJC and didn't want to risk wearing it on the bike as that's obviously the point of no return, he was saying how nice it is at times to flip it open and cool down and on days like today I could truly appreciate that. But also overall comfort.
Most modern bikes get super hot. The more power the more heat, also I suspect that cats in exhausts add to the overall heat output, they need to be hot to work properly.

So it arrives tomorrow and we'll give it a whirl
I'll get it in before couchy does, assuming he hasn't already-
- You do know this means you have to start talking all nasally wear a Sam Browne belt and join the IAM too, yeah?
Do you really 'need' a new exhaust or is it just a nice-to-have?
I've just came back to a triple, albeit a Trumpet, after several years with IL4's and twins and love the motor - the noise along with pops on deceleration are great, I actually had to have a dig around the exhaust to see if it was fitted with the TOR optional exhaust as it sounds that good!

Need no. But the headers are poop
Surely that gives you the opportunity to clean them even more than usual then>

WADR, I spent 15 years spanking sports bikes on track, harder than 99% of folk on her ever will. Never had trouble with heat. They are designed to cope.
