Re: MSPs to get he chance to vote on assisted dying.
It’s a hard ‘yes’ on giving people the choice from me. I believe religion shouldn’t get a voice on this. Or they should, and it should be respected, but kept in a box for those that believe. I’m not at the point where I think we should be able to order suicide as part of our Prime subscription, but ...

Ordered approved and processed. I’ve gone for an expensive helmet too- well, for me.
If anyone wants to help me set the bloody thing up closer to the time that would be amazing.

Re: WFH, how's that going for everyone now ?
Covid was squarely ‘living at work’ rather than working from home. A lot of people had, and continue to have challenging setups where their bedroom is also their office etc etc. I guess it depends on how much of your job is just doing your time and punching a clock. Most IT roles could be done remot...

Re: Insignificant/ Significant things that BYP or just wind you up a little
Two things that have probably been mentioned:
- people in cars who are turning right at a T junction and don’t position themselves on the right of the lane (enabling others to turn left)
- people who hold their phones out in front of them whilst on the phone.

Re: Leccy or ice ???
The Kia Evo 6 super duper thing does HyperCar acceleration and looks like your nans Honda accord. The acceleration buz wore off for me. My i5 does 0-62 in about 5 seconds. I think. It does do 300 miles + in winter and extreme comfort. Personally, if I was going for a sports car I’d get one with an e...

Recommendations for bike/garage security
I'm grateful that I've got a double garage so space isn't really an issue.
Keen to get recommendations for security. Not sure I want to go down the ground anchor route- but maybe.
Thanks

Re: Trek eBike
Just rode the large Trek 8. Plenty big enough- XL will be too big for me
C2W = +5% total RRP (includes sales)
Trek 9.5= Trek 5, 9.8= 8. Just the carbon versions. I think someone said that already here though. For now. the Trek 8 looks like the one for me

https://www.veloline.co.uk This is my local bike place. They are less than 5 minutes drive from my house and a lovely bunch. They have Fuels and Rails and the consensus view was that the Rail was preferred. I forget why- might have been battery life? I really like your bike. I looks clean and agile ...

Yeah- QMC. Now 'Outstanding' :) My eldest who has just gone to Uni went there, my daughter now there and I suspect the rest will follow. Fab' college Things I don't get: Racism, sexism. Men who hit women. Violence of any kind, but especially men who hit women. War in general. I think I'm more of a q...

Re: Things you don't 'get' that others do?
The meeting up at biker cafes and riding in large groups. Sounds like hell. Riding the same roads each week. And, sometimes, crashing on bends they've been around umpteen times. Alton towards Basingstoke riders, looking at you. I drive that route almost every day; dropping my daughter at college. D...

Re: Trek eBike
I would have thought so- my Bird Aether 9 (I think that's what I've got) is a large. The Giant before that was large.
I was advised that if you're 6'4" territory that was more large, but appreciate the views. Certainly helps give me more choice
