Ebay payments

Recently sold a few clothes items (my lads old suits) and sales totaled £38. Post was an additional £12 making £50 all in. Ebay only sent £43 and have now taken an additional £4.30. What's the deal these days? I went onto the payments page on eBay but it is showing some random data and not opening p...

car tax question

Ukraine, housing a refugee.

Would you? Could you? Discussing here at home, we have a spare room, we could offer to someone. Technically two I suppose as it's a small double. We are a bit remote, no busses or public transport but it's a safe place, albeit temporary. Anyone else considering this? I don't know how we'd do it mind...

Touching base

Dont visit the site much, but was chatting with a mate and realised how much has gone on. I got made redundant a couple of weeks ago. Rising costs, last one in first one out etc. Was given a week in lieu (weekly pay) but by Tuesday had another job. Better money, dont have to deal with pita customers...

Not dodgy as far as I know, it works fine and antivirus hasn't picked anything up

I'll try the force stop. What's the APK file and where do I find it?

Moving phone app from internal memory to somewhere else

Hi guys. I have an app on my phone in internal storage that I want to move to either another phone or to the memory card. It's an app I can no longer find on the store and really want to keep it. I've tried moving it via settings but no luck. Any ideas. Tia

Re: pensions

Define "make the most of them" - grow the most, the most/least risky, the most income? Define "run the best" - gives you the most choice for investments, requires the least input from you, has the lowest charges? Define "performs the best" - same as above really, what'...

Re: Garden leave v annual leave question for HR type bods.

Sorry, slight error on my part. The letter actually says: On termination you will be paid the following: Any holiday ..... Any pay ... The reason we're querying it is because while she hasn't had a pay slip, her pension account has only been credited the normal amount and not the additional amount f...

Garden leave v annual leave question for HR type bods.

My wife handed in her notice and was subsequently asked to take garden leave. No problems there. She has now finished that period of garden leave but there is the question of outstanding annual leave. She was not asked, at any time, verbally or in writing to use that annual leave as part of her gard...

Re: Router advice please

I tried it but I couldn't stand the moaning. Luckily they were good kids so I only had to get cross about twice. My router can do the blocking thing though and they knew that. He is a good kid, but, like everyone else has struggled with covid and how that has impacted on that time he would have bee...

Re: Router advice please

The router will offer MAC address filtering. Find out the model and google how to do it. Get the MAC address off the Xbox (it will be on a label on it somewhere), enter it into the router filtering settings and that will block access from the Xbox. It will be a bit faffy though and probably won’t o...

Router advice please

We're on talk talk which as a provider is fine for us. However, their router doesn't offer me the option to be able to connect to it and specify what can and can't use it, refuse something a connection, like an Xbox .... You can see where I'm going with this now can't you. Basically, I need to restr...

It was older than that, it was a photo of the goldwing getting some air over a low tabletop.

Re a gold wing doing Motocross

I recall from the last place I think there was a post or some discussion as part of a thread about a guy who raced a gold wing, a plain Jane in Motocross. Does anyone have any info or a link for this?? Tia
