Re: What's the worst bike you've ever ridden?

Enfield Interceptor, woeful.

I bought a CB350SG for £250 as a pile of scrap and rode it from John o'Groats to Lands End, that was a better bike. In my late teens my Dad had an XS750, that was a much better bike.

:D

There'll be a few more to come this year too. It's an expensive circuit to book but it helps that it's almost in my back garden, anywhere else is going to cost me at least a full tank of fuel in the car to get to.

It's also the best circuit in the UK 8-)

Re: Rockshox token advice

It actually seems to work well tokenless I wonder if it is because I am heavy - so 100kgs. So logic would say that you need more tokens the lighter you are to get the right sag and progressiveness. I also run a Cane Creek rear shock - with no volume reducers ( and shockwizz suggest that I need less...

Re: Talk To Me About Shocks ?

He means nitrogen. In the lower part of the shock body there's a chamber, one side is oil filled, the other side is pressurised with nitrogen (300psi ish, depends on shock) and there's a floating piston in the middle. On fox shocks this part isn't user serviceable, it has to be sent back to a repair...

Much prefer the sram guide brakes over any of the Shimano brakes I've used in the past.

Upgraded my pikes to this year's debonair the other month , straight forward job. Fiddliest bit was removing the circlip at the bottom of the air shaft. Service manual for the latest lyriks https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.sram.com/globalassets/document-hi...

Well i'm not sure if this should go in the pilock thread, the BMP thread or this one, but as it's in here, i'll leave it in here. Fitting the bolt i thought "that's a bit bloody tough", but it seemed OK, so i put it down to the Locktite on it making it a bit stiff....But then i thought &q...

MAny people love them though. It's a very comfortable fit and I like having the adjustment wheel which you don't normal...
