Re: eBay watch list, what you got?
I try to put stuff on my watch list that I'm not going to buy,but as I've discovered, that's fucking dangerous too.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 8:29 pm A 92 GSXR1100 I'm not going to buy... unless some one want to make me an offer for the Guzzi.

Re: Talk to me about heated gloves or heated grips.
I dunno why I didn't buy heated grips years ago,I mean I used to ride all year round without them and now I don't,I buy heated grips.
Mind you there are plenty of days during the other 3 seasons when they are welcome.
They are my fav thing atm.

I'm on the 5th day since extraction and the discomfort is finally starting to ease.
I can't wait to eat proper food again.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Beware the horrors of the dry socket! Don't even joke. Wisdom tooth extraction last year was bloody awful. I suspect it may be that which was the root (pun intended) cause, as I recall a huge wad of blood and shit breaking off the night I returned home. Suspect it was the clot and that, in turn, le...

Re: Astrazeneca/Oxford vaccine approved
Mrs irie gets another AZ jab tomorrow because it seems that for some reason her first AZ jab in January in a hospital wasn't recorded in the NHS database. Then I guess that in 12 weeks from tomorrow she'll get a supposedly second but actually third jab. Who knows wtf she'll end up like after three ...

Re: Looking for some new GoreTex spring/autumn gloves.
Went for the Held. Very Impressed with them so far, though my riding has been very limited since I got them. Plenty of feel, warm when it's been nippy and comfy to wear. Not the cheapest, but as my ol' nan would say, 'Buy cheap, buy twice'. I like Held stuff. I've a textile jacket made by...

Back wheel isn't solid, its just got something like a 90 tooth rear sprocket and you're eyes are painted on.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Just had a tooth extracted. Had the choice of root canal through the existing crown or extraction. Having gone the root canal through a crown before, and it still giving me gyp, I went for the medieval option. 30 minutes of tugging, levering and eventually drilling got the bugger out. Just having a...
