Re: Show Us Your Ugly Mugs

I made them for my favourite five year old (now six). "but they don't work!" he said... So I'm like, "well you just said 'space goggles' you didn't specify any particular function" (yes, I really do talk to children like that) and "anyway, they work alright on the Moon"...

Re: KTM Troubles

Bad news for all sport fans. I hope Honda,Yamaha and Aprilia get their act together soon,or it will be a Ducati cup.

I bet Pedro Acosta,Brad Binder,Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales are a bit glum after that news.

Like all politicians, shameless abuse of power is seen as a perk of the job. They don't give a fuck what the little people think.

Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.

Got involved with my step dad’s finances since he’s become, well, not capable of doing it himself. He has carers 3 times a day which is eye wateringly expensive and draining his pot, so I looked into things. He has a blue badge so I assumed he got disability but it turns out he has never applied fo...

Re: What have you done today thread?

Spent most of another day tooshing about with the garage door, attempting to stop the gale blowing in through the gaps. The curse of a South facing garage. I also bought a little fan thingy which sit on top of the radiator and blows warm air forward. Time will tell if it's any use or not. The weather...

Sat in a quaint ye olde worlde pub last tonight having a sneaky Butcombe. Took the dog.....and the wife. Dog sat there minding her own business (on the lead btw). Couple come over 'because we love dogs', dog gets a bit growly, which is not a good thing. We explain that she's a rescue, quite unpredi...

The barriers that were put up on the days of the BSB should have been there on an official testing day.
I didn't know that. It puts an entirely different light on the matter.

Re: What have you done today thread?

I bought one of those insulating kits for the inside of the garage up and over door. I spent a couple of hours doing that, before going to a few plumber's merchants to try for O rings for the kitchen tap spout. None of the outlets were remotely interested (we don't carry tap spares, mate) so I raided ...

I don't mind Henry Cole & it's good to see bikes on the telly, but it's a repeat series from a good few years ago. I realised it was a repeat when they dragged the Phil Read rep Honda out of a neglected & overgrown garden, good to see those Nortons & the Classic TT feature again. Nah, he'...
