-jayemm on cars likes them
If he told me it was day time I'd look out of the window to check.
Staggeringly unprofessional and my old mum knows more about cars, plus she's less likely to get someone killed. A bloke was very severely injured when he was driving beyond his abilities in one of his ...

Re: Would you have an electric car if you had the money for a new car and were in the market for one?
So you have 3 cars which each take 3 nights to fully charge at home, as long as it’s cool enough, and your option away from home is 1.5hrs in a mall, if it’s cool enough. How much does that charge cost?
I’d struggle to maintain my enthusiasm.
A full charge at the super charger is about £1.50 ...

Re: Would you have an electric car if you had the money for a new car and were in the market for one?
My Tesla(S) (we have three) are still brilliant but unfortunately we can't charge them at home during the day, it immediately just says it's too hot to charge and even during the night it will only charge at a reduced rate, so it takes three full nights to fully charge my car in 40c+ ambient temps ...

Re: Bathrooms, towels, how often ?
About twice a week for shower towel.
I wouldn't want to dry my face where I'd dried my arse the day before but a clean one every time is wasteful and unnecessary so towel is organised; by the label is arse crack corner, opposite corner is bollocks etc. bit between them is feet. Top end is ...

Re: Bathrooms, towels, how often ?
We don't have towels in the bathroom, they're in the linen cupboard and we fetch one when we have a wash/shower and then we put it in the wash afterwards.

A well sorted one like the one I bought off CC/GP would win at most UK tracks in inters.
I wonder where that is? I sold it to a bloke in Dubai and I've never seen it again.

I read that as Ferrets.
I was expecting to hear about a rampage of angry mustelids.
The collective noun is a business of ferrets btw.

Re: Whoops, I Did it Again!
I’d go steady if I were you, I always thought that there was a whiff of the ghey about the Diavel and you wouldn’t want to get caught outside a public convenience on one dressed in leather and with a designer beard, unless it’s a Brian Blessed tribute event, but even then you might find yourself on ...

Re: Best meal you've ever had ?
There's too many very good ones to list, but there's two that stick in my mind when asked this question.
One - The full tasting menu with wine at the Fat Duck in Bray. My darling wife somehow managed to wangle it at short notice for my birthday about 16 years ago. She must have either pretended ...

Re: Best meal you've ever had ?
I generally don't remember the food, it's the company and I hate to name drop but a cracking time was had when I had a random bite to eat with Giles Brandreth at the National Motorcycle Museum one day. It was just one of those random moments when you have a witty, handsome, brilliant entertainer ...

Revcomps have got an Aston Martin F1 Edition which I toyed with buying last year and they have a 31k, the first year of the power valves (RD350 YPVS).
