Rossi Vs Dovi
Dribs and drabs from various sites that Dovi might be under consideration for a Petronas Yamaha SRT ride next year, which is currently earmarked for Rossi.
I love Rossi, I never want to see him stop racing, but there's no denying he's not as fast as he used to be. I guess Dovi could potentially do the bike more justice.
I imagine it'll come down to which is more important, sponsorship money or championship points.

Hmmm, maybe so. I won't believe anything until they line up on the grid next year.Yorick wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2020 9:00 pm Apparently not..

Who do you think would do better on the SRT?

Or is he just as good as he ever was and everyone else just got quicker?KungFooBob wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2020 8:54 pm I love Rossi, I never want to see him stop racing, but there's no denying he's not as fast as he used to be. Genuine question, I’ll check back later to see what you find.
I've no idea.

Re: Rossi Vs Dovi
Tough to say Dovi might do better, he might not esp given Rossi's ridden Yamaha's since 1953. However I suspect Rossi will bring in a shed load more cash to the team/championship.

Re: Rossi Vs Dovi
No chance.
Dovi would fly on that bike. Proved it on the Tech 3 Yamaha many years ago and it's widely regarded as the best developed "riders" bike in pit lane.
