Why hello there…

It's er… been a while.

Was on VD, pretty much on the SM forum mostly as had a SM'd XR650R at the time. My one true love. 😢

Joined TRC, but never ended up on there much. Dunno why.

I remember Zanx, big ol' unit with a shaved head and a XR650R SM too. My memory is appalling… Weeksy? Count someone? Another loon who put 17” rims on a KTM adv bike before it was a thing…

Well, I'm sure it'll come flooding back to me. Got a '17 Africa twin now, always said I'd get a big traily when I got old and fat. 😄

I think I was Jambo there, possibly Mungo. Who knows, it was nearly 20 years ago I guess and thanks to the previously mentioned appalling memory…

I'm sure I remember a Jambo and a Mungo (poss from VD and TRC). Things are a bit quieter these days but there are a few 'old timers' still around. :thumbup:

The only SM I encountered was Silent Memory. Wonder what became of him?

Thanks Count Steer, and everyone! A very warm welcome, thanks folks!!!

The more I think about it, I think it was Jambo on VD. Propile pic was of a Gorilla. 😅

A few names definitely ring a bell. Silent Memory for sure, and a few others.

Zanx still about, or anyone know how he's doing? The VD forum was great back then, fountain of knowledge and everyone was so helpful.
