I think the only apps I ever spent money on are Torque and Co-Pilot.

There is a free to play game I once spent £8 on getting a loot box.... but that was like £8 for 300 hours of play, so worth it imho.

Movie rentals, YT music subscription. If you have a shimano e-bike there's an app that allows you to change your country to US so your limiter is set to 19.8mph instead of 15.5...
