The garage that sorted my starter motor in France last month, Dauphiné Moto, near Grenoble, mentioned an independent maker of rear shocks that they recommended. I'd lost their details, but found them again today. The name is Shock Factory. The guy that runs it is apparently a Brit who has lived in France for some years. According to their website his name is Mike Capon and he's an ex racer. The prices seem competitive and they do servicing/rebuilds. I'll probably consider them when I need a replacement for the current rear Guzzi shock (although they do many makes). Here's the link to their website:

Re: Shock Factory
Thanx for the reminder.
Yonks ago someone mentioned that shock guy when I was talking about the Monster shock. I'd completely forgotten he was not too far away!
He''s about the same distance from me as Grenoble (but then an hour to get to my mate's place in Grenoble!!)
Must remember for when I have some money!!
