Alpinestars vs dainese jacket size

Right I’ve got a A* atem v3 in euro 50, I’ve lost 12kg and it’s too big, so I am after a new one, been looking at the Dainese super speed 3, on the Dainese site their fit finder says euro 46, I would of gone to 48 or maybe 46 in the A*.

Now I went to my local bike shop, and the person that was helping was a joker. She was giving me euro 50 and telling me they were uk 40, it Was like a tent, she was saying I’d need 36 but they did’t make them, so I left. Bloody J&S

Any how are the sizing between the 2 brands, 46/48 is what I am after I think. Just can’t be arsed with having to send it back. And no where close to me has them in stock.
