Ridgeway 15th Aug, long and spectacular. Who's in ?
Thinking about a Ridgeway cruise on the 15th.
Starting near/at mine just by Streatley/Goring and riding to Avebury and back. Looking about 70 miles all in, but plenty of options for a bit shorter if people want/need it. There will be pubs, there will be cake and there's even likely to be BBQ laid on at mine at the end of it.
Reasonably early start of 8ish should see us right. Pace, well, that will be whatever everyone wants... we can smash it, we can cruise it.... But we're more likely to cruise it Just something a bit less extreme than the usual FoD/BPW day really, but a bit of an adventure in there with it

I wouldn’t mind tagging along if that’s ok?
Assuming nothing comes up between now and the 15th, just need to work on bike fitness a bit between now and then!
My youngest might fancy it as well, think he could manage the distance, I can’t lose him on a 30 mile ride and he does no ‘bike specific’ training at all which is really annoying
