Isn’t that the same as every weekend? It’s like I’m watching Greenman talk about his roast dinners - what makes it valentines? 😀

Today: celebrate the life of a colleague who died from ALS. Gone way too soon (48)

Tonight: my daughter is in a performance of Joseph. It’s her final show tonight. Been absolutely brilliant.

Tomorrow: WhatsApp the eldest who’s in Tanzania for a couple of weeks and wish him happy birthday. Spend time with my demented MIL who is over. Buy some more plants.

Sunday: swim. Walk. Pub lunch.

Valentines meal booked for next week.

Have a great one, folks

I'm going to Blackpool.

Might have a ride on a tram, visit the tower if it's open and get very very drunk.

Today - Day off. Going to whack some more flyers up around the local pubs then at 2 my fellow Green Pirate shall be coming over for an all day studio session, mainly production and polishing off a new house mix.

Tonight - Another mate coming around to join the fun. Will probs be a late one!

Sat - Fuck all.

Sun - Over to see the parents after going for a roast over Docca's. The old man isn't too well so Docca has invited me over, he's such a kind man, thanks Docca, 12.30 right?

Off to York for a long weekend (return Monday) leaving Foal in charge here (for a Valentine’s weekend with his GF ... ).

Staying with someone I've not seen for over 20 years and her partner who I've never met.

There's a good pub right near the Grand Hotel that does a cracking selection of beers. I'm sure they'll know it.

We have people round for dinner tonight. One of Mrs. Gremlin's single friends and her son, who's 13. I doubt it will be a riotous evening.

Saturday I really do need to do a tip run. And about 100 other things, 99 of which will still need doing by Monday, no doubt. Out for tapas in the evening.

Sunday. Going to see mum and stepdad. He was proper laid low by what we think was a virus for a fortnight. Back on his feet now, no thanks to his not-fit-for-purpose GP. :angry-cussingblack:

"My dear Doctor, they're all true."

Today, mad day at work, managed to catch up with an old seasonaire friend for half an hour and now sitting here hoping my dinner is digested enough that I can sleep very soon - got to get up at 4am!!

Tomorrow - start work at 5am. Full days driving. Second airport job starts just after the first rugby match starts - gutted :( :( Home and straight to sleep after!

Sunday - usually work 7am - 3pm on sundays (when in the office) - considering a slightly later start as I'll have more than made up my hours on Saturday!! LOL

Valentine?? Whats Valentine? Since my BDad died I think I've had about 4 cards (he died in 2011) - I always knew I'd get a card from him at least!! Don't think anyone here is gonna change that!

York Tap is good (in the station), The Maltings is equally good (near The Grand and Malmaison (which is the old Norwich Union building on Rougier Street)), 5 mins further away is Harkers and Lendall cellars.

Spoke to my brother yesterday afternoon as it was his birthday. As conversation moved past birthday and rugby, I mentioned going out for Valentine dinner with some friends and there was a silence - "Shit, I haven't got her indoors a card" was the panicked comment!!

Conversation finished pretty much instantly so he could go out to buy a card

I'd the lurgy allows I'm taking Mrs Weeksy out later. We discussed cards and she said "no, it's silly" however, still bought one! Nutter

I didn't get one, it's a bit silly because we have been married for several centuries. Then she gives me one at breakfast. Ooops!

I am partly forgiven because I had already booked a decent restaurant for Friday evening. Never go out on the 14th itself, places are packed, prices go up and food quality goes down.

Very kind suggestion, thank you. But that post is a year old and I've only just seen it ! :)
