Re: JTS
Guess it's up to me to find out then
It's time to retire the venerable old Hein Gericke textile jacket, it's years n years old, had 3 sets of armour and has been down the road a time or two, so replaced with a JTS Leon, AAA rated leather jacket, with trendy hoodie n everything
Great little shop they have if you're ever Coalville way.

Re: JTS
Top notch it seems.
There was an issue with the CE / PPE labelling on the jacket which they cleared up quickly, so I'm happy.

So after a whole season, including a holiday in the Welsh rain, it's a thumbs up from me, old HK jacket is going the way of the landfill and I'll stick to leather from now on, well except when it's bloody hot and then the mesh jacket can come out to play.

Re: JTS
Love the look of leather jackets and buy them from time to time and then remember that i never like the weight and restictiveness of them and sell them on again? I assume you get used to that as many seem to have them? Perhaps I should persevere?

Every time I take it off the hanger it's a case of 'F me that's heavy', get the same whenever I pass it over to someone for whatever reason, but I can't say I notice the weight when wearing it.

I'm the same with an Oxford leather jacket I have - weighs an absolute tonne but soon forget about it once on and its actually really comfortable.

My Mrs bought me a Furygan leather jacket just before my son was born, so bout 11 year ago. Absolutely love it, still my favourite piece of riding kit.asmethurst99 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 1:02 pm Bought a Furygan leather jacket for my 60th - should have bought one years ago.
