Today will be faffing about at home, as ever. I've reoiled a floor and it's now dry so I can move the furniture and clutter back in.
Tomorrow will be packing and leaving on a prop plane for Glasgow, and then the train to Inverness.
Sunday will be mooching about in Inverness until I board the sleeper down to that London.
Monday is Eurostar to Brussels and onwards to Bruges, having broken my fast at the St Pancras hotel.

In the office today - leaving at three and can't wait to get home and continue with my newest crochet project, a nice warm, wool jumper.
Saturday: looking at my bike as I haven't looked at it enough yet. I've bought some clear plastic, cut to shape tank protection which I may have a go with and as the weather is so nice, I may pop out for a coffee
Sunday: Out with the club I'm in and should clock up 200 miles so I've booked the bike in for it's first service the week after next.

Dropping off/picking up the wife tonight as she's out with her 2 mates of over 40 years.

Tomorrow I pick up my new (to me ) car. Back here to pick my wife and sister up and then off to visit my Daughter and her other half. Then back here where too much wine undoubtedly will be drunk.

Sunday, probably take the wife out for dinner on the coast somewhere as an excuse for another run out in the new car.

You've been quite cryptic about the car... spill the beans.

The only thing I know about the Velar, which is also the most important thing... it's got pop out door handles.

Today: Walk dog. Remembrance Day. I'll also be at a home group after morning prayers at 9.30am.

Saturday: Relax, do whatever wife tells me.

Sunday: Remembrance Sunday Service at 12th C Church. Afternoon service at 4pm and then Presiding at Holy Communion in the evening. Sombre day, but with space for grace and love.

Don't whatever you do drive in to East London in that - the 5-0 will be all over you, rectal exam guaranteed!

I used to have a black on black on black Merc - the blackest guy in our office reckoned I looked more black than him driving it :D

Did you ever see my BMW? I changed the grills and wheels to black and my (young) colleague said I'd "murdered it out"! My Daughter said it looke dlike a drug dealers car, which had me thinking , hiow would she know that? :D

The Velar looks like that because it is the "black pack" apparently. All I know is when I saw that and the contrasting white interior, I wasn't looking at anything else. Objectivity (and budget) went out the window!

Don't think I ever saw the BMW.

My Merc was black, with black leather and the black pack including upgraded drug-dealer spec black AMG rims - I fitted in perfectly well in Leyton

Wife has had man-flu for a couple of days, I can feel it starting, obviously I'll get it much worse as it effects men more.

So I imagine I'll just be a snotty mess all weekend.

Today, bugger all. The bike shop sent me some papers to sign and a courier is coming to pick them up.
When? Canarian time :D

They should have come yesterday so I may as well have posted them ;)
Gives me more time to clean the house before Pen gets home from a week in Morocco later tonight.

Tmrw last enduro on the Husky. Don't want to get it dirty.
Night I've been invited to a poker night. I hope I learn quick but there's lots of beer :)

Sunday WSBK and footy.

Today - paying out money day! Water softener failed, so that's being replaced and pool needs some work for next summer so just paid the deposit for that. New estimate for kitchen replacement just landed so deliberating over that......
Sat - Off to The Emirates to see the RLWC semi-finals, England Vs Samoa, with my lad. Perhaps dinner out or a takeaway in the evening.
Sun - Decorating most likely!

I should be out on my mates bike. But I don't feel particularly great - head not where it should be, so not worth the risk

I'm cross stitching!! I should be on the bike to go home as I've left the sewing machine cable there, so I can't use it  But hey ho!!

Hopefully feel better tomorrow as another mate is borrowing a bike and we're supposed to be going out!! :D :D

So -

Today, chilling

Tomorrow, hopefully biking, then chilling

Sunday, sorting out some stuff as moving back home on Monday :D :D
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

As it's Nov 11th,, I took myself off up to the top of Sarpbunu for Remembrance. My best mate died 15 years ago on this day and my wife's ashes are scattered on the top of this little hill beside my house.

I have no firm plans for the rest of the weekend but will be doing some paddleboard repairs and other winter work bits and pieces.

Currently enjoying a beer in Frankie's - Sarpbunu isn't very high, only 200 metres or so but it's steep, rocky and slippery. I have, as usual smacked my head on a tree branch and bled. Seems to be a tradition.

WFH today, so been to Wickes, Brewers and Aldi. Going to be doing some decorating this weekend. It's been a hectic week, I feel fucked, so booked in for a bloody nice steak tonight and a few pints. I need it. Then family coming over for a massive roast on Sunday. Just looking to relax a little more than I have been lately.

"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

I was going to give you a thumbs up as I read that as, "Relax, do whatever life tells me, but you put wife. :D :D

Takeaway tonight, tomorrow the wife will be at her allotment, and I'm planning on welding up a table for a mini mill I've bought.

Sunday, no idea, I'll find something to do, even if it's just wasting time.
Well she may be telling me to clear the garage, and that entails fixing the bike so I can clear the garage. Win win!
