I really like this one and the only thing i would change is the back end plastics to tidy it a little

That's a lovely looking thing - you're right about the tail plastic, though I actually like that it still has chunky orange indicators.

That's nice, only thing I would change is the cams, standard ZX cams are better than the 410s, the 410s give more power but the standard cams give a better spread of power.

My first "big" bike was one of these with a big bore kit. Ran like feck all squared on the standard FI but was a missile with carbs.
Nasty 16 inch wheel if I remember right.
The one in the pics is gorgeous.

GPZ900R had a 16" front wheel, Demanu is correct about Unitrak wheels, they were funny things to ride, big, long, slow steering, but unstable at speed, GSX1100s handle better but aren't as fast.

In fairness, it was nearly 30 years ago, I've fried a fair few braincells since.
I had a 550 of the same vintage, they had the wee warning lights on the tank. I swapped if for a GS1000G.

Ok apart from the total lack of airfilter and silly fecking teastrainers there for erm... reasons.
Nope, I just can't be arsed with that level of shite.
The rest is pretty good though.
