That is lovely, but you'd think they would've done something about that rear light/plate holder.

I'd have preferred him to have linked at least 1 picture
But then again, it does absolutely nothing for me anyway.

I thought the same when I saw someone post it the other day on the Practical Sportsbikes FB group.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 8:38 am That is lovely, but you'd think they would've done something about that rear light/plate holder.
I was going to post it on here but after more than a 10 second glance I ended up quite underwhelmed by it.

If that was mine i'd black hammerite the front forks. Those ones look like they from a tin of Quality Street!

It's a nice Uni, but I agree with the Tiepin that the forks look wank

If it were mine I;d have more polished aluminum: edge of the rims, engine covers.. & fix that rear mudguard.

If it were mine
Cut down rear mudguard and do something with the tail light
Smaller indicators
Smaller oil cooler, either higher up on the frame or in the nose of the fairing, that oil cooler is going to function as an oil warmer with the exhaust directly underneath
Different forks that look more in keeping with a 1983 bike

Hopefully you'd have a ride on it before you did, they're good fun, they're also a lot less agricultural than a Ducati 900SS

Re: Pretty sure I need this...
Tbh mate, there's not many bikes out there that tick less boxes for me as a bike I'd want to ride. Maybe a bit harsh, but it's certainly in the bottom half of we pick 100 random motorbikes. The only redeeming quality is that it has proper bars.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 3:43 pmHopefully you'd have a ride on it before you did, they're good fun, they're also a lot less agricultural than a Ducati 900SS

Funny you say that mate, but one thing I really don't like are skinny handlebars. Its a restomod, needs proper thicker bars.

Re: Pretty sure I need this...
I meant proper in the context of not clipons, which I really can't do any more.

Aah, I'm with you. Mind you, lots of sports tourers have "clip ons" that sit much higher than the top yoke.
