Greetings from Malta, I've made the jump from That Place to This Place.

Cheers Weeksy for setting it up

Welcome in. Remind us what you're riding etc these days? How the cycling going? How's the lockdown treating you over there? I seem to recall you lived in a flat in a town which may have made it very tough?

I moved from Gibraltar to Malta at the end of 2019. I was cycling to work but I now live five minutes walk from the office and can walk easily, so I haven't got a motorbike yet. Part of that is not quite feeling settled yet, don't want to buy a bike til I'm sure we're stopping here. We'll be moving into an apartment a bit further from the office and with a garage later in 2020, and at that point I'll look at getting a motorbike again. I found a really nice condition CB-1 which I fancied, but didn't seem right to get it with no garage to put it in, and there aren't many around where I'm living right now. Other than that, I've been thinking about a Super Soco TSX electric bike. Maybe even both; electric bike of about 100cc equivalent for scooting to work, classic Honda for tinkering and weekends. We'll see what develops :)

Bongu! Orajt xbin

Err.. I know very little Maltese. Even if Gib is still a British outpost, I reckon they speak more/better English here and way less grudgingly, so there's been little incentive to learn.

I was in Malta last year for a week around Springtime. I quite liked the place, even though some of it still looks freshly bombed! Very friendly people.

Because the island is so small,I enjoyed the way you can jump on a bus and be anywhere soon!
