Just sat on patio after meal, chilling before the pudding and suddenly thought of 2 strange track things.
First. When we raced Cadwell we always did a double weekend to keep costs down.
But other times we had just Sunday, but went down anyway on the Friday as 2 of them were married and wanted a long weekend away
Anyway, we went to see the Saturday track action.
We saw about 30 Porsches flying round and it turned out the circuit had been hired out by Nick Mason and he'd brought 30 cars from his own collection for his mates to play in.
We tried to get a glimpse of him, but he was too busy having fun.
We saw 2 cars get stuffed in ditches, so a few bills.
We just loved the fact that a mega rich bloke was giving his pals such an awesome day.
Strange Track Experiences.

Re: Strange Track Experiences.
Second was at Anglesey about 10 years ago.
Again we tried to do double day jobbies.
So piled into the bar Saturday and there was a big party.
One of the marshals got married that day and they were having their reception there
So was a mega night with free food and cake and Karaoke. Was all very surreal.
A few marshals had poorly heads the next day.
