My money is he'll beat Dovi and Cal, unless he bins it!
However, if he doesn't beat Dovi, where does that leave him mentally?
Will he have a Kocinski meltdown, or do a max and disappear to WSB

He should beat Rossi and Cal..... shouldnt see Fabio apart from the start and will be interesting to see how Dovi gets on.
I think the big question is where he finishes in relation to Aleix as no other Aprilia rider has managed to finish close to him in recent years. If he can stay with Aleix or beat him then thats the level he needs to be looking at .......... then worry about the Yamahas IMO

Has he been riding for the past few months much though ? As we've seen with Cal, it takes time to get anything even remotely like race pace once you've been off the bike for a while.

He should certainly be fired up and motivated enough to do well, which as we all know is a massive part of it (especially with Mav), but far from all of it- as Yin says, , Aleix is the only one that has anything like consistently shown the Aprilia well so he could be in for a bit of a shock, and if he doesn't go well, I'll be surprised if it isn't toys out of the pram again from him.
As for Dovi, not expecting big things from him at all and I think he'll find it hard- he needs to finish in front of Rossi IMO, that's by no means nailed on- the old goat had a decent ride last time out and Dovi on a Yam could give him an extra little bit of motivation too

I reckon he'll go well, probably better than Aleix, otherwise he wouldn't be racing at Aragon and the rest of this season.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him qualify well and, if the Aprilia is good enough, be on the podium before season's end.
I know he's a bit of a prima donna but he is quick and, as said above he should certainly be fired up and motivated. He's had the beating of Aleix in the past and I believe that will continue.

I think he prefers being the underdog and surprising folk, rather than having to deliver as a factory rider.
