Show us your cars ?

Post by weeksy »

What's your driving thing then ? Are you a go faster person ? a function person ?

Image

As usual mine is a Mondeo. Recently bought and new fangled technology. With trackdays, MTB trips to the Alps/Wales, i need something that's a decent size and ideally a decent level of comfort too.

So that's what we got.

Driving isn't really my thing, it's more of a necessary evil than something fun... but i do like nice, quiet and comfortable.

Driving for me is a chore, I get no enjoyment outside the solitude and peace it can provide, so for me it's always going to be practicality and more importantly reliability over any other consideration;

This is the latest addition, a 2.0 TDI Golf for Mrs GP. Not done many miles due to Lock down but I've done a couple of trips to Portsmouth to deliver my lad to his ship and I've got around 60mpg out of it.

Image

As this was purchased just prior to lockdown, I've still got her previous car, a Suzuki Swift which I won't be able to sell till we are out the other side of this.

Then I've got this filling the rest of the driveway: Nissan Elgrand. 240bhp 3.5 V6

It will be up for sale soon :)

I've got my wife's old " hand-me-down" Jazz which doubles as our dog-mobile . She's treated herself to a new automatic Jazz " cos it's better for my arthritis " !

I'm perfectly happy . I just want reliability and practicality :thumbup:

Volvo s60 R-design.

Whenever not on a bike I love me some comfort and good audio system. Large trunk too so practical enough for family stuff.

What about pics from your device? I don't use a cloud or other net based storage.

On this type of forum I think yo're stuck if the image isn't already in the ether. I use photobox, FB and Instagram.

Anyone else know?
