Trackday videos....what you got ?

Post by weeksy »

This is from Pembrey last year... Epic sun, great fun.

Mrs Weeksy was the camera bike.

and the day after. Around 9 mins in, mrs weeksy spends some time debating when to spank me.

This one is still my favourite. Was on cold tyres, so first lap is slow. I was having fun that and catching folk after about 4 laps

Absolutely loved it, proper fun. I had intended doing loads more trackdays and definitely going back to Cadwell now I know where it goes a bit. Sadly I haven’t done a single one since, very annoying.
Wish I had started doing them years ago but I thought they would be a bit boring, I was wrong :)

Funny looking at that even only 7 years ago how much riding position has changed from then.......loads of people with head and upper body fairly central and lower half off the bike. Now its head down by the bar on corners and the rest of the body follows ;)

PS, will any of you lot have a camera fitted at Pembrey as the missus wants to know what she paid for as my birthday present as she isnt allowed/able to be there to see it and wouldnt mind seeing my pathetic attempts at wobbling round for a couple of laps . My stepson has a GoPro i can borrow but i'll buy a mount for it for onboard

I'm sure we can sort something. I'll speak to Alan and on a quiet session i'll throw a bib on and try to follow you.

I'll probably take my cheapo, it's good for £40. If your lucky somebody else will put some footage on tube. Just search date and venue.
