Pet Insurance - Devil Dogs...

Post by Silly Car »

Does anyone have tips, experience, recommendations or must have / avoids when it comes to insuring dogs?

Cute dog picture for reference:

Check very carefully what is covered by the policy! A lot of policies are cheap and don't cover very much at all.
Our 1 y.o. Catalan sheepdog costs about £33 per month to insure with PetPlan, which is expensive but they are one of the more comprehensive providers out there.
Then again, he is a fucking liability.......

For the past 25 years , we have had either 2 or 3 dogs at any time . ( used to play about at dog agility ) . All except one of our hounds were rescue / re-homed mongrels so not especially prone to breed-related weaknesses . I would just set aside a reasonable amount every month ( praps buy premium bonds with 'em ) and hope for the best .
