Is this jacket too garish?

Post by Le_Fromage_Grande »

https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorc ... rod/334217

This week I've really enjoyed riding to work in textile jacket, jeans and trainers, but my textile jacket is about 15 years old and is black and dull, so I fancy a new one, and I want something colourful that won't clash with the bikes I'm likely to use it on, blue and white FZ 750 or green Z1100R links below so you can see what the bikes look like

It does look a lot "1970s Anorak" as well, I think that I'm even asking means that it's not for me.

Not that I'm anyone to give out fashion advice but yeah, it does look a bit like a 70s anorak.

Ask yourself,'would Funners wear it'?

If so.

Then no. :P

It is a bit, but it's not boring and it goes well with the bikes, especially the kwak.

Jimi Saveloy springs to mind. Just get matching trousers and a cigar to complete.

While blueberry was last year's fashion, I still say go for it. The blueberry goes well with you skin's undertone, and the lime brings out the colour in your eyes. However, I suggest you add some biking accessories in opposite tones for your accent color.

Not CE-approved as far as I can see. Just CE armour.

As it's been necessary to have CE approval for all bike clothing since 2018, and since ordinary denims can pass the A standard, it's presumably old stock.

CE... or caveat emptor.

I think it would fail the CE testing for colour fastness
