Macbook Pro SSD replacement

Post by cheb »

First spawn needs a new SSD for their Macbook. It's one of these: https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macb ... specs.html

Will any PCIe disc do, or does it have be an Apple one? The disc model number is SD6PQ4M-128G-1021.

Also, I'd like a USB adaptor or caddy for the same. Any recommendations? We've had the talk about backing up data.

I just got an Apple SSD - I suspect , as I had it done at a Apple licensed repair centre that I just paid through the nose for it. TBH, all out board drives work, so I would have though any generic would work
