BBC3 has commissioned 6 episodes, for release later this year.

A timely, meditative take on the world from the mysterious Ogmios, a strong new comic voice with affectionate humour and unique worldview.

Contemporary and contemplative, each episode follows Ogmios out on a mission in his loyal Fiat Panda. His journeys take him far and wide, physically and philosophically, but they start and end with his community - going through the same streets, seeing the same landmarks, and characters. The community fabric of his little pocket of North London informs Ogmios's worldview and openness to people and ideas.

Against a dream-like, atmospheric, ASMR-infused soundscape, we learn that Ogmios was a rapper and his freestyle bars pepper the show as he philosophises and shows off his rap battle abilities. The series will reveal more and more about him as he offers glimpses into his life, his past, his hopes and why he became a Zen motorist.

I'd like to watch this as I really enjoyed his videos and I'm curious to see how his content has transferred to a commercial platform however..........

I cancelled my TV licence last year as I don't watch TV. In order to cancel my licence I had to confirm that I do not watch live TV (which I don't). I've not signed into the BBC iplayer since then as I don't know if I'm technically allowed to watch BBC recorded programs and until now, I haven't wanted to.

Now I'm staying with my Mum who does have a TV licence am I allowed to watch live tv? Please don't imagine me sitting in her front room with blinkers on and avoiding the TV as I certainly do sit there and watch it with her. Do I sign into the iplayer? Do I create a fake account in her name?

I know I could ask the BBC this question but thought I'd pose it here as I'll get a more interesting answer, if an answer at all.

FYI, I can't unless I create an account in my Mum's name. I sign into iplayer under my name, click play the program, it asks if I have a TV licence and I say "No". It then gives me a page where the only option is to buy a licence. I don't care anymore - I CBA to set up an account in my Mum's name as I'd probably have to create an email address for her too. I may contact the BBC to ask and waste some of their time.

I often watch BBC iplayer here in Turkey through a VPN. If it ever asks me if I have a TV Licence, I click yes and it's all OK.

Of course, they're hardly going to knock on my door and ask me to produce a licence though . . .

That was quick. The BBC said click "yes" when asked if I have a tv licence as it's against the house. Are they really recording everyone's IP addresses? Anyhoo, thanks Horse, I'll be watching it very soon.

IIRC the famous tv detector vans were little more than a publicity stunt / scare technique. Nowadays they work on writing to people who aren't on their database.

I believe the same - detector vans were just a ruse. When you bought a tv (or rented one as was the norm way back when) you had to give your address for tv licencing purposes.

I was sat at a BF's house watching tv with him once and a man from licencing knocked on the door and ask my BF if he had a tv. My BF replied "No". "Yes you do" the man said "I can see it - there". Ooops. If you didn't have a tv you had to have a radio licence for your radio and they'd get you for that instead if they could.
