Obligatory snow thread
Mainly for the SSSD's. Anyone had any yet? We're due 5-10cm in the next few hours.

Haven't seen any this winter! Been all around us, even within 2 miles, but not where we live. Which is good news as I hate the stuff!

Soft southern shandy drinker? How very dare you Sir! Its Soft Southern Scrumpy Drinker here!
Mrs M went out about and hour ago for an E-Bike ride, since then I've watched the wind get up and rain and hail bash off the windows. I suspect her usual cheery disposition may well be a bit jaded when she get back......

Jaut started showing proper big flake stuff here in MK. As always, makes me pine for the slopes.
In contrast to pietin, I think snow is my favourite weather.

We've got about 4" of snow here.
I've to go to the supermarket later today... in my rather powerful RWD car
will I make it there and back? Place your bets now!

I was a bit surprised to see loads of these chaps out and about, managed to snap this one mid slither...they seem generally OK though.

Re: Obligatory snow thread
My cars booked for an appointment with ChipsAway St Albans tomorrow morning. Always was gonna drop it off Sunday as mornings are mental with work and home schooling. Saw the forecast and dropped it off at 9. Glad I did as its properly snowing in Hertford, only been about half hour and its settled a fair amount and coming down hard.
