IOM TT 2021

Post by Skub »

Has been cancelled due to the ongoing pox.

An extra bummer for those hoping for light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah, bound to. Lots of the RR clubs run hand to mouth, this is something that may kill them off entirely.

My twitter feed was alive with pissed off riders whose bread and butter is the IOM and the Real Roads racing with the circuit racing as an extra.

I hope the organisations can get through next year ..... you never know, perhaps the incoming vaccines might allow some limited racing during the year but wont be holding my breath

Ironically, putting it on the TV mightn't have been the best move, I know a lot of people who'll sit in the house watching for free, rather than pay to stand in a muddy field.

The UGP was killed by weather and I think that Coleraine council are trying to turn Portrush into some sort of posh resort so don't really want the NW200 any more.
