I no longer ride in shitty weather,but some of you do and may be interested in this piece of kit. I wonder if it works,or is it just another great way to scratch the fuck out of your visor?

I got one of those as a present years ago and am ashamed to say I’ve never actually used it so you won’t get much of a product review from me (but it doesn’t take up much space in a drawer )

I remember years ago the creator of the company came to our bike club to give a demonstration/talk on it as it’s made in our town.

It seems a good idea and I really should give it a go.

Looks good. But its a bit over-engineered. The best solution I have ever had was a pair of gloves I had many years ago. The index finger on the left hand incorporated a sponge type wipe, while the right hand index finger incorporated a rubber blade. The blade was brilliant - on wet days it totally cleared the visor with one movement, with no smearing. For some reason it never caught on. May have been because the rubber blade cracked and broken before the gloves wore out. But I loved the system, and would buy it again.

No reason why it wouldn't work, its just a wet sponge but worn on the wrist instead of in a pocket like a V-Wipe or in a tennis ball

Had one of those on some of the despatch bikes
