Miracle laser welding - Phony or real?
Miracle laser welding - Phony or real?
Has anyone seen that youtube add for a hand held laser welder? It certainly looks too good to be true at the price. Presumably needs some filler wire and gas which could be unique and expensive? Perhaps the joint is more like glue than weld?

I have senn it, and the consensus seems to be that it is a total fake. If you buy one let us know how well it works.

Laser welding is definitely a thing, I've had loads of stuff laser welded. Never done it on YouTube though
All the stuff I've had laser welded incorporates the filler into one half of the joint, e.g. a little lip on one of the two things being welded.
