Cadwell Trackdays anyone? - Fri & Sat 21/22 MARCH

Post by Tricky »

I'm not sure there's anyone on here who likes going round and round any more, even on one of the most fun racetracks in the world, but in case there is, or, if you're not to far from Cadwell and fancy a ride out and some of my jaffa cakes the week-end after next , come and say hello -I was meant to be racing with Wirral100 at Anglesey that weekend, but very sadly they've cancelled the meeting for financial (basically not enough entries in time :( ) so I have I've signed up for the Friday and Saturday Cadwell TDs for pre-season shakedown testing on the Bandits- We're staying in Louth , so we will also doubtless be having a few sherbets and scoffing the obligatory bad curry there on Friday eve too :)

Friday is £99 with No Limits, Saturday £129 MSV so it's not even too expensive. plenty of space left in all groups currently, and if you're super keen, there's even another NL day there on the Monday too :D

If I was in the uk I’d be there!! Bloody love Cadwell!! Can’t even swing holiday as there’s no chance in the winter season of getting a few days off 😟😟😟

The jury is still out on this one for me....if last weekend's weather can be replicated then the invalid carriage may well be called into service, as @Tricky is aware.

It would be the first outing for the Niken this year and a 400ish mile round road trip and two days on track would certainly test its mettle and the resolve/fitness of its decrepit pilot ;)

I doubt there will be riders queueing up to subscribe so I shall ponder further and the decision will most definitely not be taken until early/mid next week.

I’m picking up the new track bike Friday, but won’t be able to do either of those days, pity as Cadwell is only 49minutes up the road.

Ah that's a shame, would be good to meet you sometime scud- I'll be back there the 2nd weekend in April for the NG meeting there, so if you are local then, please come and say hello
