Bluetooth Amp inputs

Post by Eclipse »

I am looking for a BT amp or active speaker or splitter that can handle two BT sources at the same time.

My computers amp (fosi audio BT20A) will only accept one BT source and I would like the amp to provide audio
for 2 computers at the same time is this possible ?

I've never seen an amp that can do it. The only thing I have that can connect to two Bluetooth sources at once is a pair of sony headphones.

The only way I can think of doing this, unless you can find an amp with two receivers is to route two Bluetooth receivers into a 2 channel mixer and then plug that in to the amp you have. You could probably do this pretty cheaply. If the computers are near each other and you can simply run lineouts from both in to the mixer it would be really cheap and easy.

Hi dern yeah the computers are within 6ft of each other, my amp also has rca input so that might be good with the mixer.
I will have a look around for bt receivers and a mixer and see if there's any cheap ones on amazon 👍

Does the output need to be stereo? If not you could wire the rca amp sockets to different sources with only one channel each. I have a small bluetooth receiver which provides line level output via 3.5mm sockets, this sort of thing could give you a second bluetooth channel.

Hi roadster, no it didn't need to be stereo and that's another good idea, thank you 👍
