..........Single Mixer Tap Hole.
Are they a standard size? I cant find my digital callipers to measure the tap but it looks like 32mm that slips through the hole. I need to order a wide washer in a hope to stop the cheap stainless steel sink flexing when you use the taps swivel head.
Cheers

Re: sink taps
The hole size you are after is 30mm to a maximum of 32 mm but no bigger than that. Most modern basin mixers have a base size of 35mm some with extra base flanges that extend it out to 40 mm, but as a rule of thumb you never drill bigger than the base of the tap.'
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

Re: Kitchen Sink...........
So probably correct at my tap being 32mm then. Best order a couple of different sized washers and a drill stepper as sure as hell when i take the old tap off it will be 30mm
