I like someone with a sense of humour willing to put time and money into proving that.
Motorbikes, Sportsbikes, Adventure bike, Supermotos, banter, chat, friends and whatever else you can imagine. KTM, Ducati, Aprilia, Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Laverda

Dang - I must have seen it from a different angle.A_morti wrote: Sat Nov 02, 2024 1:54 pm We did that one higher up already.
My biggest issue with it was how the neck is now triangulated with a Bluetooth front engine mount.

It's the correct fairing just lifted up for mandlebars.Bustaspoke wrote: Sat Dec 14, 2024 11:14 am It looks like they've stuck a Gen 1 'Curvy' fairing onto a Gen 2 'pointy'![]()
As the owner of a Gen 2 SV650 I disagree, there's no way that's a Gen 2 fairing, the front view looks like the earlier Gen 1 curvy, & the view from the cockpit is totally different to a Gen 2.Here's the advert & images https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/365082124569 ... Wifey owned the first model SV650 which is how I know it's from that. I sort of lost interest in SV's when she sold it around 2003.Bustaspoke wrote: Sat Dec 14, 2024 8:26 pmAs the owner of a Gen 2 SV650 I disagree, there's no way that's a Gen 2 fairing, the front view looks like the earlier Gen 1 curvy, & the view from the cockpit is totally different to a Gen 2.Here's the advert & images https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/365082124569 ... That'd be my guess, that faring isn't SV or Fazer.KungFooBob wrote: Sun Dec 15, 2024 9:04 am Looks like one of those fairings (maybe Powerbronze) that you used to see in the M&P catalogue for NTV650s and GS500s.
