TBF I normally do for lots of reasons

But I’m wearing shorts and tights today, don’t want wet tights and the shorts are a bit thin too!!

I guess it’s just that I see the issues now where I wouldn’t have done before

3/10 must try harder

Whatever happened to "Don't piss on your hands" as a standard response in these situations?

I'd like to think Noggers sits to pee, thus reducing hand/piss interface risk.

Although given her track record of falling off of things, anything could happen.

Opened a milk carton to check: plastic.
Ah, but was it a St Helens full fat Goat's milk carton? This kind of detail is important... :D
Skimmed, lactose-free. Perhaps lactose dissolves plastic and would need foil?
It was a few months ago that I last had cause to dismember a cardboard milk carton. When the current one is empty I will sacrifice it to the Gods of Knowledge...

Glad I’m at the front of the bus so no one can see me sniggling 🤣🤣🤣

TBF, until the second inability to use the hand dryer (different section of Heathrow, same issue) I was going to have a mini rant and ask WTF women don’t sit as I’m so fed up with having to wipe the seat before I sit to pee!!😇

My back, don’t know what I’ve done but bloody hell is it painful and has been for 3 days, popping nurofen like smarties and trying to stay mobile.

Owwwww

Sympathies! :(

(Did mine some time ago....strimming the grass. 2 weeks of agony, painkillers that needed other tabs to protect the stomach, blew a nerve a bit like blowing a fuse and now living with the impact of that, but loss of feeling in the leg/foot is better than the pain  ).

Did some painting last night. Never a good idea when working in the dark with just a bare bulb to light the room as you're always working in your shadow.

This can be evidenced by the big patch I missed under the window which I spotted this morning.

The NH fcuking S, hallowed be it’s name! :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack:

Bread knife has a skin problem, one symptom of which is an itchy scalp. Not all the time, but when it flares up it drives her insane. She has been prescribed a liquid to put on her head that soothes it, but being female she really REALLY hates ruining the hairdo that cost an arm and a leg 2 days ago. So she uses it frugally, and only when she really needs it, so a bottle lasts a long time. Anyway, it is now almost out, and the condition has flared up, so she wants another bottle. No problem, go online, order a repeat. Easy peasy.

Well not quite, it has aged-off the list of stuff that is regular repeats, but no big deal, system allows a free form request so spell out what is needed and they can check it has been prescribed before. Used that route several times before for stuff that is only needed occasionally.

But not now! Oh no, message back saying fill in this form. Said form requires massive amount of input, name, address, DoB, NHS Number, surgery name, surgery address, what is wanted, why it is wanted, has it been prescribed before, who by, when, what is best number to call you, when are you NOT available for the next 10 days (I kid you not!), etc etc. Mrs is spitting blood by this stage, and her blood pressure is astronomic. Form duly dispatched and a text returns saying “ a GP has assessed your case as not urgent and we will call you within the next 10 days”. So that’s another hurdle for the future. And another 3 weeks before she gets what she needs.

All of this instead of looking up her record, checking that this has been prescribed before, and ticking the appropriate boxes. No fcuking wonder the NHS is running out of money. All this for what is probably a £2 bottle of liquid that she has used carefully for the last 4 years. Next time we will be ordering it regularly, whether we need it or not. I can understand this level of paranoia if she was ordering stuff with a big street value, but AFAIK the kidz are not into topical scalp stuff.

Couple of days ago I'd a few beers with pals. Only 4 or 5.

Today saw them again. Told them my best pal is coming Wednesday. He was my best man.

They said I'd told them Saturday.

No, you're mistaken.

No. You told us about his stag night at Beverly race course.

Ooooh. A bit fuck.

Hmmm

You should take magnesium L-threonate and magnesium glycinate.

Sodding rain !!!! It's just all the time really isn't it.

Sometimes we'll get a few hours of dry... but it soon kicks in again and the roads, trails, world are once again drowned. I'm getting properly fed up of the endless mud, slop and rain !!!! It feels like it's rained constantly since bloody Sept.

Absolutely fed up with it too. Supposed to be in Henley for 3 days next week but I do not fancy 3 days in a campervan in the rain.
