TBH mate it arguably should go... i barely ride and if it were to go it wouldn't get replaced. But there are the odd times i enjoy a little ride out, a trip to the shop/town etc.. But i don't really do 'big' rides, if i've got a 2-3 hour ride planned it's on the pedals.

And it's great to read that (and the previous post) from you! There isn't a law saying how many miles you should do, who you should ride with, how often you should go out. There's a whole guilt trip thing we beat ourselves up over. As lostboy says,you don't have to conform to what other expect of you in either choice or use of bike. How many times do we hear snarky comments about owners not deserving a particular type of bike? I wouldn't even accept depreciation on something I don't use, let alone actually paying out each month.
I've got three bikes sitting doing nothing, but none are depreciating and non really owe me anything at this point, if they did then they'd be gone.

OTOH, if you did get rid of it then decided that you missed it, you'd probably need more than £500 to get back on the road. I'd love to be in the position where i can say it owes me nothing, but we are where we are. As i said, i rekon if i flogged it tomorrow i'd need about £500-700 to throw in to wipe it out... At the moment that £700 is going on MTB racing, Hotels, upgrades, FUEL !

Whichever way you slice it it's going to cost you more to keep it than sell it now.
It's probably a bit more hassle to sell it but you're well versed in that, and then you could put the monthly instalments away in savings, then if/when you feel like you want another bike then you've got start-up money and haven't wasted any.
I'm just chatting away here, but that makes more logical sense if you really think you'll go through 2022 not really interested in it - although I get you, sometimes it's easier just to roll with what you have.
