Didn't agree with the Gulf wars, the Afghan wars (US one, USSR one I was a kid but that was wank too) or this Ukraine one.

But I won't be taking in any refugees mainly cos I'm honest and would rather not. Nothing to do with skin colour either way. There's wars and horrible shit happening all the time unfortunately.

As for Ukraine I think Russia has some legitimate concerns but it's being a total arsehole about it.

I'm mainly concerned about this conflict spreading to the Baltic/Poland as then we could get involved.

Putin is an arse, before you accuse me of being a Russian troll. But.... he wanted to JOIN NATO, we wouldnt let him, as without the Russian bogeyman, NATO had no purpose and all those lovely arms contracts....well, they would be ahrder to justify to the good ol' tax payer.

No serious discussions ever took place with Putin. Three weeks prior to becoming president he presented the idea to the Russian public of joining NATO, but got no further than this:

“Putin said: ‘When are you going to invite us to join Nato?’ And [Robertson] said: ‘Well, we don’t invite people to join Nato, they apply to join Nato.’ And he said: ‘Well, we’re not standing in line with a lot of countries that don’t matter.’”
